Did you know Australia Post has increased the price of postage which includes a 30-cent increase to the Basic Postage Rate (BPR), up from $1.20 to $1.50. This also effects the price of registered posts which increased by 14.1%. The increase took effect today, Wednesday 3 April 2024.
This means there will be a small increase to our registered post costs to cover the new postage and register fees.
The last increase of postage prices was in January 2023, when the cost of stamps increased by 10 cents.
There is some good news. If you have a free MyPost concession card then concession stamps remain at 60 cents. These stamps are sold in a booklet of five stamps for $3.00 and have been the same price for 10 years. Christmas stamps will also continue to cost 65 cents and can be used to send Christmas cards throughout November and December.
